Haley Surber, 19, Fredonia, died at the scene of the accident and was taken to Countryside Funeral Home after the accident at 8:35 pm Monday. Surber was a passenger in a 2002 Chevrolet driven by Cidney Smith, 18, Fredonia, who was taken to Wesley Medical Center with suspected serious injuries.
Smith remains hospitalized and was listed in critical condition Tuesday afternoon.
