Early Sunday morning, a chase ensued in eastern Neosho County.
At approximately 3:30 am, sheriff’s deputies were notified that the Parsons Police Department was in pursuit of a vehicle that had fled from officers in Parsons.
The pursuit entered Neosho County, with the suspects wrecking their vehicle south of St. Paul. The suspects, a white male and white female, fled the vehicle on foot. Residents in St. Paul were alerted of the situation because it was believed the suspects were southbound along the Neosho River.
At 2:08 pm Sunday the sheriff’s department reported both suspects are now in custody.
The Tribune on Monday was not able to get more information on the incident.
