A Chanute man was arrested early Friday on south Santa Fe on drug-related charges.
Chanute police arrested Joshua Acuna, 32, Chanute, on charges of distribution of stimulants, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a firearm.
Police received a report just before midnight Thursday that a truck drove over a shopping cart in the parking lot in the 2700 block of south Santa Fe. After officers located the truck and obtained a search warrant, a search with the police K-9 officer turned up 12 grams of methamphetamine, eight grams of marijuana, more than $600 cash and 14 firearms.
Acuna was previously arrested in April for possession of 23 grams of meth, 170 grams of marijuana and $2,500 in cash.
He was transported to the Neosho County jail without incident.
