Five CHS students medal at national FCCLA conference

Five Chanute High School students used their knowledge and leadership skills to earn medals while competing against 4,700 others at the FCCLA national leadership conference in Anaheim, California.

Seniors Jodee Parsons and McKenna Tait competed in the Chapter in Review event, received a silver medal and were ranked fifth in the nation. Senior Jaylynn Hicks competed in Job Interview and received a bronze medal. First-year competitors Blair Curtis and Aaron Rodriquez received a silver medal in Life Event Planning.
