Kathryn L. (Kathy) Mikola passed away October 5, 2019 at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Kathy was born on November 3, 1946 in Chanute, KS. She was the daughter of Ralph & Marie (Fulps) Bockover.
Kathy married Floyd Thompson March 23, 1963 and they had two sons .They later divorced. She married Monte Miller June 19, 1981. On February 15, 1991 she married Paul Mikola, they later divorced.
Kathy worked in the health care field for many years. After retirement she spent her time caring for her great-grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her two sons, Doug Thompson and wife, Vicky, Curtis Thompson and wife, Carolyn, of Kansas City Mo.; 6 grandchildren, Jasper Thompson and wife, Jynele, Maryjo Thompson and husband, Ben, Kyle Waisner and wife, Amber, Mathew Waisner and wife, Riley, Cory Thompson, Jeffrey Thompson; 6 great grandchildren; Brothers, David Bockover of West Covina Ca,, Lyle Bockover and wife, Debbie, of Olathe KS, Kevin Bockover and wife, Sheila, of Humboldt KS, Kelly Bockover of Kansas City MO, Alicia Schomaker and husband, Tom, of Humboldt KS; sisters-in-law Rochelle Bockover of Pittsburg KS, Kathy Bockover of Excelsior Springs MO. Cindy Bockover, Kansas City, MO; and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by husband Monte Miller, granddaughter Kayla Thompson, her parents Ralph and Marie Bockover, brothers Floyd Bockover, Lloyd Bockover, Dannie Bockover and an infant brother Darrel Bockover and sister-in-law Margaret (Peggy) Bockover.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from noon-4 at the Room on the Square, 806 Bridge St., Humboldt.
