City digs up savings of $600,000 in debt

Thayer woman injured in K-47 rollover
One person was taken to Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center Thursday after a single vehicle accident on Elk Road just south of K-47 Highway. Jennie Umbarger, 65, of Thayer was southbound near 12240 Elk Road around 1:30 Thursday afternoon. The Neosho County Sheriff’s Department reported she lost control on the gravel road, left the roadway and overturned. Umbarger was transported by ambulance to Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center.
