The Neosho County Sheriff’s Office investigated a pickup truck-deer accident Tuesday morning on U.S. 169 just north of the Cherry Street exit. About 7 a.m. Tuesday, a 2007 Ford pickup truck driven by Jamie Jean Yocham, 27, Colony, was southbound on U.S. 169 when it collided with a deer. Estimated damage was more than $1,000.

Early Tuesday morning a law enforcement officer in Wilson County responded to a 911 call of a suspicious subject and vehicle on U.S. 400 Highway between Neodesha and Fredonia.
