Accidental rifle discharge ends life of Chanute teen
A young Chanute man lost his life Tuesday evening in an apparent hunting accident on his family’s property. Neosho County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched around 6:30 p.m. to the property near 11050 220th Rd. Jake Galemore, 16, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a sophomore at Chanute High School.
