Chanute man, 37 injured in rollover
A Chanute man was injured in a one-vehicle rollover on Elk Road, two miles north of Chanute on Elk Road at 12:57 a.m. Sunday morning. Jimmie Aikins, Jr., 37, left the road in his 1998 Ford, entered the east ditch and rolled two times. He was taken to Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center, but was not a patient there on Monday. Aikins was not wearing a safety restraint.
