State’s jobless rate drops
The Kansas and Neosho County unemployment rates both fell by more than half of a percent in April. According to the Kansas Department of Labor, the state’s jobless rate was at 6.3 percent in April, down from 6.9 percent in March and unchanged from April 2009.
