Manhattan athletes dominated the first Journey through the Jungle Sprint Triathlon hosted by Chanute on Saturday morning. Christian Smith of Manhattan claimed the male overall title in a time of 56:30 and Mitchel Loring of Manhattan was second in a time of 59.44.
