George Thomas “Buddy” Ibbetson, 92, lifelong resident of rural Buffalo, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2009 at Coffey County Hospital in Burlington. He was born Oct. 13, 1916 on the Ibbetson farm northwest of Buffalo, the son of George Frederick and Chestine Elizabeth Kennedy Ibbetson.
