Dolores M. “Dee” McCauley, 94, St. Paul, died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Prairie Mission Retirement Village in St. Paul.
She was born on August 12, 1916 at St. Paul to Charlie and Mary Linden Nunnink. She grew up at St. Paul and attended St. Paul schools, graduating from St. Francis High School in 1935.

Duane Levi Schoonover, loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died Saturday, April 16 at the V.A. Hospital in Wichita.
Duane was born in Neodesha on June 13, 1943 to John Levi and Erma E. Hallbauer Schoonover. He was one of 14 children. He grew up and attended schools in Neodesha. Duane served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years before returning to Neodesha.

Margery Merchant passed away on March 28, 2011, in Shoreline, Washington, at age 92. She was born Margery Ellen Mote in Chanute, Kansas on June 28, 1918. Lois Mott, 88, longtime resident of the Lafontaine and Fredonia area, died Friday, April 15, 2011 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. She was born Jan. 5, 1923 in Pittsburg, the daughter of William and Katherine Ann Maletz McGinnis.
On April 18, 1951 in Bentonville, Ark., Lois married Floyd E. Mott. He preceded her in death Nov. 2, 1970.

Jerold T. Elliott, 85, Gas, died Friday, April 15, 2011 at his home.
Jerold was born Nov. 24, 1925 at Erie, the son of John Junior and Martha Ellen Smith Elliott. He grew up in the Neosho County area and served in the United States Navy during World War II.
