Looking back
25 years ago (1983) The feature in the Tribune’s weekend magazine section tells of the Angora goats being raised by George Norris on his ranch southwest of Fall River. Norris said each goat produces about 10 pounds of hair each year. The goat hair is used to make expensive fabrics for coats and sweater. 50 years ago (1958) A Tribune photograph shows Harry Carter and Louis Gerken as they flip pancakes during the annual Kiwanis Pancake Day....
