Harley James Record, 84, Chanute, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 at his home. Harley was born in Greeley on August 24, 1925, the son of Frank A. and Gertrude Ann Burson Record. He was the youngest of eight children. He served his country in the United States Army 13th Armoured Division during World War II. He was united in marriage to Shirley Peterson Osburn in April 1964.
