The Rev. Deane Douglas Endicott, 82, Fort Scott, died Thursday, April 14 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe. He was born Nov. 22, 1928 in Bly, Mo., the son of Thurlo Washington and Launa Effie Rogers Endicott. He graduated from Labette County High School. He married Wilma Deane Richardson on June 24, 1949 in the Altamont Baptist Church.

Max Steven Brown, 56, Chanute, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Harry Hynes Hospice Center at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
Max was born in Chanute on Oct. 12, 1954, the son of Raymond E. and Katherine M. Bartholomew Brown. He attended Chanute Schools and Neosho County Community College.
He held various jobs in the area including the Chanute Airport, Kustom Electronics and Chanute Communications before becoming disabled in the mid 1970s...

Max Steven Brown, 56, Chanute, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Harry Hynes Hospice at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 18 at the First Christian Church in Chanute. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Leo was born in Chanute on Oct. 3, 1928 the son of Virgil and Ethel McCloud Herron. He graduated from Chanute High School in 1947 and attended Chanute Junior College for two years.
