Saturday’s outage has far-reaching effects

The St Patty’s “Green Parade” has been rescheduled for this Saturday at noon, beginning at Katy Park. Judging will take place at 11:30 a.m., so participants need to be lined up by then. Tammy Sue Hughes 1966-2011
Tammy Sue Hughes, 45, Elsmore, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 as the result of a car accident near Humboldt.
Tammy was born Jan. 2, 1966 at Bremen, Ind., the daughter of Charles and Sharon Denslow Leckrone. She graduated from Iola High School in 1985. She had resided in Chanute, Erie and Elsmore.
On March 17, 1999 Tammy married John Hughes at Parsons. She was a member of the Stark Friends Church.

Beulah Mae Heller 1915-2011
Beulah Mae Heller, 95, Humboldt, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Pinecrest Nursing Home in Humboldt.
Beulah was born June 24, 1915 in Independence, the daughter of George Myron and Nona Iola Freiermuth Burtnett. She grew up in Iola and graduated from Iola High School in 1933.
On August 12, 1935, Beulah married Frank P. Heller in Nevada, Mo. They made their home in Oswego until his death on Oct. 30, 1980. She moved to Humboldt in 1981.

Laura Mae Wing Brown, 82, died Monday, March 14, 2011 after suffering a long-term illness with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born Sept. 9, 1928 to Jerome Paul and Donna Chamberlain Wing of Benedict.
