Gary Reed, 63, of Chanute, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at his residence.
Gary was born Chanute on May 15, 1949 the son of Leo Albert and Olive Marie Newton Reed. He attended Thayer schools. On Feb. 24, 2008 he married Teresa Kahler in Chanute.
He loved spending time with his family and fishing with his sons.
Gary was a self-employed auto mechanic.

Linda Joan Buttler, 65, of Chanute, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
Linda was born in McLouth on Oct. 29, 1947, the daughter of Boyd and Mary Ann Kirk Bogle. She graduated from Chanute High School in 1965.
She was united in marriage to Mike Buttler on June 27, 1979 in Miami, Okla. He survives, of the home.

Norma J. McMurray, 79, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. She was born May 26, 1933 in Walnut to Orin Alvin and Ettta Louise Burger Baugh.
