Jerold T. Elliott, 85, Gas, died Friday, April 15, 2011 at his home.
Jerold was born Nov. 24, 1925 at Erie, the son of John Junior and Martha Ellen Smith Elliott. He grew up in the Neosho County area and served in the United States Navy during World War II.
In 1953, Jerold married Mary Catherine Ross. They made their home in Los Angeles County, Calif. She preceded him in death in 1973.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 18 at the First Christian Church in Chanute. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
