Cindy Ann Smith, 46, died early Tuesday morning, May 15, 2012 at her home in St. Paul following a two-year courageous battle with cancer.
Cindy was born Sept. 21, 1965, in Parsons, to Robert and Carlene Harrison Yarnell. The family lived in Erie during her early years and then moved to St. Paul, where she has resided since. Cindy graduated from St. Paul High School in 1984 and then attended Labette Community College.

Rex L. Milner, 60, Chanute, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at St. Francis Via Christi Heart Hospital.
He was born July 6, 1951 the son of Melvin Milner and Ila Stipp. He was a graduate of the Chanute High School Class of 1969.

Charles Ray Penrow, 67, a longtime resident of Fredonia, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Fredonia Regional Hospital. He was born Feb, 20, 1945 in Hattiesburg, Miss., the son of Charles and Elsie Perry Penrow.

Emma Catherine Sanderson, 89, Humboldt, died Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Arrowood Lane in Humboldt.
She was one of nine children born to Paul Otto and Flossie Blanche Penwell Joy on April 29, 1923 at Fredonia.
On May 5, 1942, Emma married Lawrence Morris Sanderson in Newton. They made their home in Iola most of their married lives. They moved to Humboldt in 1994. Her husband preceded her in death on July 5, 1998.
