NCCC women's basketball program put on probation

Independence defeated Chanute 61-44 in varsity girls action on Friday night. Chanute was within striking distance all game long, but could never get over the hump. CHANUTE — The Neosho County Community College baseball team cruised past Brown Mackie on Thursday afternoon in the season-opener at Hudson Field.
Neosho County won game one 10-0 and then took game two 12-0.

CHANUTE—The Royster Middle School seventh grade boys basketball team ended its season in dramatic fashion on Thursday night.
