Race postponed at Humboldt Speedway
Predictions of rain and cold temperatures in the weather forecast has caused officials at the Humboldt Speedway to postpone the races that were scheduled for this weekend to the weekend of Nov. 9-10. According to Rhenda Whitworth, this is the next date that there are not specials going on at other tracks, meaning that plenty of drivers would be available to participate in this race.

The Chanute Blue Comets, who are still undefeated at press time, have moved up to second place in the latest statewide KVA 4A rankings. The Erie volleyball squad traveled to Eureka Tuesday night to compete against Eureka and Fredonia. The Red Devils first played Eureka, falling in three sets 25-22, 21-25, 16-25.
