Chanute’s Flowers honored as all-state
Mallory Flowers, who was a standout performer on the Chanute Blue Comets this year, received honorable mention in the Kansas Volleyball Association’s 4A all-state selections, which were released on Monday. The 6=foot junior played outside hitter for the sub-state winning volleyball team.

WARRENSBURG — Leading the way for the Panthers wrestlers this past Sunday at the University of Central Missouri Open tournament was freshman Le’Roy Barnes of Belton, Mo. Barnes turned in a strong day going 5-1 and finishing second at 133.
