Babe Ruth 14-year-olds to State
Some times second place isn’t half bad.
The Chanute Babe Ruth 14-year-olds fell to Parsons last weekend, but got the good news that they were selected as a wild card team for the state championship tournament in Osawatomie.
Chanute will begin play 5 p.m. on Friday vs. Wellington.
The players will stay with host families during the tournament. The state championship game is scheduled for Tuesday.
