The Chanute Babe Ruth 14-year-olds fell to Parsons last weekend, but got the good news that they were selected as a wild card team for the state championship tournament in Osawatomie. For the SEK League Swim Meet season, Chanute had three individuals achieve high point award for their age division — a Drake Gilmore, 11-12 boys, and Brock Gilmore 13-14 boys.
