HUMBOLDT—Neodesha made all the plays down the stretch and pulled off a 43-39 come-from-behind win over Humboldt in the boys game on Tuesday night.
The Cubs held a 10-point lead at one point, but the Bluestreaks rallied late to earn the close win.
Neodesha outscored Humboldt 34-22 after intermission.

The weather has caused the area’s sporting events to be called off. For starters, the CHS basketball games scheduled for Friday night at Columbus were postponed. CHANUTE—Jeff Williams walked into the Chanute High School gymnasium and was immediately mobbed by former students, former co-workers and old friends.
The head coach of the Joplin Eagles, Williams grew up in Chanute and spent 27 years as a coach and educator at CHS. He left last May to go to Joplin so he could get back into coaching basketball.
