Tribune staff The Neosho County Community College men’s basketball team defeated Brown Mackie 84-79 on Monday night. Justin Fairman and Tyrie Wooten scored 14 points apiece for the Panthers. Royster wrestling team begins season

The season has begun for the Royster Middle School wrestling team.
The Rockets competed at the Cherryvale Tournament and the Independence Tournament this past week.
Both tourneys were round-robin, quad format with four wrestlers in each bracket.
No team scores were kept, but several Rockets stood out.
At Cherryvale, Adam Cole, Dillon Wolverton and Karter Krokstrom all took first place in their respective weight classes.

The Jets have three seniors who have all paid their dues over the last two seasons.
