NCCC runner Rosario ready to ‘knock heads down’ at Nationals

Competing in the regionals event in Garden City on Halloween, while being overwhelmed by the smell of a nearby slaughterhouse, Neosho County cross country runner Leslie Rosario was able to make history. She became the first regional champion in NCCC history, and on Saturday, she will be running in the Nationals in Hobbs, N.M.
Rosario is aiming to finish among the top five runners at the event.
