Humboldt softball falls to Burlington Burlington swept a softball doubleheader from Humboldt on Monday. Burlington won game one 7-0 and game two 3-1. In the first game, Kylee Carson had two hits and Kaley Riebel added one. Melissa Davidson took the loss in both games. Chanute baseball drops two at Iola
IOLA — The Chanute High School baseball team fell to 0-4 on the season after two losses to host Iola on a cold and windy Monday. The Mustangs won game one 12-2 in five innings and then took game two 14-5. In the opener, Iola took a 1-0 lead on a homer by Levi Ashmore.
