Phillip Eugene “Bud” Jennings, 75, Greenfield, Mo., died Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at Dade County Nursing Home.

He was born Aug. 21, 1932, near Golden City, Mo., to Clifford Wallace “Dick and Pearl Velma Shouse Jennings.

He married Evona Rae Hurd on Oct. 4, 1956, in Morrisville, Mo. She survives.

Other survivors include six children and their spouses, Michelle and George McCoy, Easton, Mo., Mickey Jennings, Duncan, Okla., Gregory and Cherie Jennings, Chanute, Dana and Mike Herfurth, Iola, Terri Jennings, Parsons, Monty Jennings, Chanute; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Cary, Lisa, Tanya, Tyler, Devan and Hannah; five great-grandchildren, Maely, Trenton, Samantha, Karrisa and Peyton; a sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Charlie Killingsworth; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sara Beth McCoy; and a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Leon Baldwin.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
