Sandra Hougardy, 43, Cherryvale, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008.

She was born Jan. 7, 1965, to Jack and Ginger Smalley Hougardy in Auburn, Wash. She attended Thayer schools.

She was employed as a waitress at Don’s Resta urant and Fat Ernie’s Restaurant in Wichita.

She was a member of Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her fiance, Dale Rose, Cherryvale; her father, Jack Hougardy, Goshen, Ind.; her mother, Ginger Hougardy, Cherryvale; a son, Bradley Oliphant, Wichita; a daughter, Andrea Oliphant; two brothers, Steve Hougardy, Rialto, Calif., and Allen Hougardy, Thayer; two sisters, Vicki Adams, Cherryvale; Karen Hougardy, Independence; and two granddaughters.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Potts Chapel. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Potts Chapel, Cherryvale.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Contributions to the Nevaeh and Nadia Scholarship Fund may be made in care of the funeral home.
