Dale A. Thornton, 76, died Sunday, June 29, 2008.
He was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Owens; two daughters and sons-in-law, Addie and Michael Madl, Walnut, and Neva and Charles Cone, Corsicana, Texas; a stepson and his fiancé, Steven Owens and Suzanna Meyer, Park City; two brothers, Robert and Donald Thornton, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Dale A. Jr. and Emil James Thornton; and a sister, Neva Snider.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cochran Mortuary, 1411 N. Broadway, Wichita. Parking is available from Market Street. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Chanute.
