Naomi Ruth Condon, 96, Fredonia, died Monday, June 30, 2008, at Fredonia Regional Hospital.

She was born Oct. 8, 1911, in Osage City to David D. and Emma C. Anderson Ramsey. She graduated from Osage City High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Kansa s State Teacher’s College, Emporia.

She taught school in White City for a year.

On Nov. 8, 1936, she married Leo W. Condon. He died March 24, 1979.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Survivors include two sons, Michael L. Condon, Dallas, Texas, and James A. Condon, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a daughter, Patricia M. Stratton, Prairie Village; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, John David, William Raymond, Milton Weaver, Arthur Cecil and Marion Ellsworth Ramsey; and a sister, Mary Emma Chase.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fredonia. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Church.

Contributions to Sacred Heart Church and Fredonia Public Library may be made in care of the funeral home.
