Sharon Kay Welch, 52, Chanute, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008 at the Chanute Healthcare Center.
Sharon was born on August 14, 1956 in Independence, the daughter of Charles Norman Harvey and Hazel Mildred LaFaunce Harvey. She attended school at the Tri-Valley Special Education Center in Chanute.
Cremation has taken place.
Sharon is survived by her mother, Hazel Harvey, Chanute; a daughter, Samantha Oyler, Green Bay, Wis.; and two sisters, Carol Sue Harvey and Patricia Marie Harvey, both of Chanute.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Harvey Family to assist with final expenses or to Tri-Valley Developmental Center and may be left with the funeral home.
