Bertha Lillian Hutinett, 100, Chanute, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010 at the Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute.

Bertha was born in Petrolia on Oct. 6, 1910, the daughter of Jonathan Small and Elsie Pearl John Roggers.

She was united in marriage to Francis G. Hutinett on Nov. 26, 1928. He preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1981.

Bertha was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the St. Patrick Altar Society.

Bertha is survived by a son, John T. Hutinett and his wife, Mary, Chanute; a daughter, Phyllis A. Petty and her husband, Mike, Cassville, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Francis, two daughters, Mary Patricia Hutinett and Barbara Jean Hutinett, two sons, Francis H. Hutinett and Charles R. Hutinett, one sister, Lois Hartman, and two brothers, Ralph Sailor Roggers and Dale H. Roggers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.

Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Saturday, prior to the Mass.

Memorials in her name may be made to St. Patrick School and may be left with Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, in charge of arrangements.
