Stephanie Gail Bohling, 62, Wichita Falls, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010.

Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10 at Elmwood Cemetery in Chanute. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Stephanie was born on Feb. 19, 1948 in Chanute, to Wilbur Keith and Bonnie Lee Markman Moffatt. She served our country proudly in the United States Air Force, and later in the Army Air National Guard. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, and a charter member of the Women’s Vietnam Memorial. She graduated from Neosho County Community College where she received her license as a Registered Nurse. A true caregiver, she enjoyed working in home health, and with Hospice.

On July 19, 1987, she married Carter Wayne Bohling. Stephanie had a heart of gold. She was extremely out-going, and compassionate, and enjoyed cooking and trying out new recipes.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Keith Moffatt; and her mother and step-father, Bonnie Lee Marley and Murton Marley.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Carter Wayne Bohling; and daughter, Amanda Landis, both of Wichita Falls; four brothers, Keith Moffatt, Shreveport, Illi., Walter Marley, Richmond, Va., Merton Dale Marley, Louisville, Ky., and Dennis Marley, Maryland; and two grandsons, Drew and Brandon Dickensheets.
