Mary Ellison, 89, Union City, Okla., died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 at her home.

She was born in Guthrie, Okla., on Jan. 2, 1921, the daughter of James and Elizabeth Girard Wilson.

She was united in marriage to William Bailey. They later divorced. She was united in marriage to George Ellison on March 22, 1957. He preceded her in death.

Mary worked as a custodian for many years at the Bank of Union and the Canadian Valley Vo-Tech.

She is survived by her children, George Ellison, Jr., Union City, Okla., Wilma South, Walnut, Georgia Self, Union City, Okla., Glenda Mitchell, Minco, Okla., and Geraldine Ward, El Reno, Okla.; 43 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands William Bailey and George Ellison; three sons; one daughter; one sister and three brothers.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11 at the Pentecostal Church of God in El Reno, Okla. Burial will follow at the Union City Cemetery.
