Jane was a sweet woman.I remember always seeing her in church on Sundays with a beautiful smile on her face ready to worship the good Lord above. I haven't seen her in a long time, but I think of her and all of the church members often. My deepest sympathy goes out to her wonderful family and may God Bless and keep them safe until they get together with their dearest loved one again in heaven. You'll be greatly missed.

Love,

Jerry, Virginia, Mike, Mark, Harold, & Kathy Schild

Jane Brown was a real asset to the class of l966. Quiet, but always friendly, and so smart.

She had beautiful skin--always flawless. Even at our 40th class reunion, her skin was perfect and so was she. She loved children--had such a kind heart. I didn't know her as an adult but I'm sure she was an excellent teacher, a wonderful mother, and extrodinary wife. I'll remember her always.

Here is a poem that helped me when my first husband died from cancer. Hopefully it will give you a peace like it did me.

She Hurts Not Anymore

She is not hurting anymore;

Her face is peaceful now.

The suffering has been erased;

No pain upon her brow.

These tears at best are selfish tears

Because we miss her so.

We’d clasp her still, reluctantly.

So sad to see her go.

But it is not the will of God

That death begat dark tears.

Her feet now walk where angels walk.

And every sound she hears

Reverberates with heaven’s love

As she kneels to adore.

Today she walks where angels walk

And hurts not anymore.

Jane Ann was called a cousin but really no blood relation. Her mother was raised by my grest aunt so Jane, Roger and Patty was always part of the family. As a young girl, Jane spent many summers visiting us on the farm near Burlington with Aunt Maggie and Uncle Ollie and us kids. Thru the years, our lives have not crossed very much but she was always in our memories. One summer when Jane came to the farm, she asked Aunt Maggie if she would buy some milk at the store and Mom bought a quart and kept refilling it with fresh milk from the farm. Jane never did know she was drinking the fresh milk straight from the cow. Mother never forgot that little trick she pulled to get Jane to drink the fresh milk. It is with great saddness that we extend our sympathy to Jane's family. With Love, Judy Stukey, Roy Skillman and Phyllis Bachman and families.

We knew about Jane from her sister Patty. Patty credits her older sister for partly raising her. Our family benefits from that upbringing since Patty is caregiver for our 92 year old Mother. What a tribute to devotion, compassion, and intelligence! We lovingly send our sympathy for your sad hearts.
