Delpha was born in Humboldt on Jan. 2, 1928, the daughter of Byrl and Blanche Palmer Carl. She graduated from Humboldt High School in 1943.
She was united in marriage to Lawrence Dietrich on Oct. 1, 1946. He survives, of the home.
Delpha was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Humboldt.
Along with her husband, Lawrence, she is survived by her children, Dan Dietrich and his wife, Georgia, Humboldt, Pat Wilhite and her husband, Allen, Humboldt, and Laura Laver and her husband, Randy, Wichita; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lois Berscheid, Janette Kittlstved and Linda Jensen; and a brother, Raymond Carl, Washington State.
She was preceded in death by her parents,, a son, Doug Dietrich, two sisters, Evelyn McIntyre and Mary Jo Sheerer, and a brother Delbert Carl.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Humboldt. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Humboldt.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Memorials in her name may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church and may be left with the funeral home.
