She was born at Granby, Mo., to Otis B. and Georgia Kee Cargile. She grew up in various places in the Ozarks and graduated from high school at Gravette, Ark.
Lola worked various jobs over the years including manufacturing, construction, and as a waitress at several restaurants.
She and James W. “Jim” Green, Jr., were married June 13, 1984 at the Riverside Park in Independence. He survives, of the home. She and Lowell Dale Wolverton were married and he preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 1981.
She was a member of the Galesburg United Methodist Church.
She is also survived by four sons, Lynn Wolverton, Winfield, Lary Wolverton, Pittsburg, Lance Wolverton, Buffalo, and Leslie Wolverton, Galena, Mo.; one daughter, Lora Banning, Independence; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Delvin Cargile, Port Angeles, Wash., and Toby Cargile, Independence; and a sister, Janice Turner, Independence.
Following cremation a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Galesburg United Methodist Church. Committal services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 4, in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Independence.
