Donald Ray Kisner died July 19, 2008, in Okmulgee, Okla.
He was born Oct. 27, 1919, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Jess L. and Annie Cordray-Bryant Kisner.
He served in the Army from 1941 to 1945 and spent another 16 years in the Oklahoma National Guard.
He married Margie Jean Kelse on July 29, 1944. She survives.
The couple worshiped at First Church of the Nazarene.
He retired from Okmulgee Safeway om 1987.
Other survivors include a son, Tim Kisner, Okmulgee, Okla.; three daughters, Donna King, Edmond, Okla., Nancy McCreedy, Chanute, and Cynthia Daniel, Conway, Ark.; a sister, Sue Ann Peirson, Indianapolis, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Robert Bryant and Jess Kisner Jr.; and a sister, Carole White.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at the First Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home.
