Henrion Paul “Bill” Buser, 87, Independence, died Friday, July 25, 2008.
He was born July 15, 1921, in Ellsworth. He served in the military during World War II.
He married Kathryn Buser in 1945. She survives.
He retired from ARCO Pipe Line Co., in 1984 as director of the Eastern Region.
He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Other survivors include nine children, Terry Murphy, Joanne Warner, Mary Gills and Loretta Huff, all of Colorado, Becky Brown, Independence, Bob Buser, St. Louis, Mo., Carolyn Latimer and Bill Buser, Kansas City;, and John Buser, Dallas, Texas; a sister, Mary Edgington, Wichita; 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Buser; two sisters, Sister Mary Robert and Becky Chisholm; and a granddaughter.
A Rosary will be 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Potts Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church followed by interment at St. Andrew Cemetery.
