Alice was born on May 7, 1941, in Norwalk, Calif., the daughter of Newton and Nellie Miller Futscher.
She was united in marriage to Luther Martin. They later divorced. She was united in marriage to Vernon Karl Thompson on August 23, 1991 in Las Vegas. He survives, of the home.
Alice worked as an accounting secretary in the casino industry.
Along with her husband, Vernon, she is survived by four daughters, Candi Peaster and her husband, Mike, Bartlesville, Okla., Vickie Merrill and her husband, Jeff, Temecula, Calif., Lisa Martin, Chanute, and Tara Heilig and her husband, Dwain, Chanute; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her mother, Nellie Futscher; a brother, Dennis Futscher and his wife, Nancy, Hanford, Calif.; and a sister, Tammy Singuefield and her husband, Lou, LaPlace, La.
She was preceded in death by her father and her husband, Luther Martin.
Burial will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at the Shaw Cemetery.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Castaways Animal Sanctuary and may be left with the funeral home.
