Marylee Constance Clounch, 82, Humboldt, died Friday, March 11, 2011 at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. She was born on Jan. 22, 1929 to Clarence and Stella Cheney in Humboldt.

Mary received her formal education in the public schools in Humboldt and was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church.

On June 24, 1948, she was united in holy matrimony to William Clounch. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include five children, Janet Pulley, Iola, Juanita Bell, Houston, Timothy Clounch, Humboldt, Cheney Lee Clounch, Denver, Richard Clounch, Los Angeles; one sister-in-law, Ernestine Cheney, Humboldt; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. today, March 15 at Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Humboldt. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt. Visitation was 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.

Memorials are suggested to Poplar Grove Baptist Church and may be left with the funeral home.
