He was born on Dec. 26, 1942 at Humansville, Mo., the son of George and Leota Mae Adams Waddell. He attended schools in Kincaid. Following school Larry entered the Army. In 1961 Larry was united in marriage to Nancy Ramsey. They later divorced.
He was a truck driver, and later a crane operator. This work took him all over the country. He lived in Pittsburg, and Gas. Following his retirement he lived in Eureka before moving to Savonburg, where he has lived for the last eight years.
Larry enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and sightseeing, but his greatest joy was his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Waddell, and three brothers, Dale, Danny and Terry Waddell, and his daughter, Lavon Waddell in 1986.
Larry is survived by two daughters, Lorraine Wohler, Excelsior Springs, Mo.; Lorri Dean, Shawnee; four brothers, Ronnie Waddell, Indianapolis, Ind.; Walt Waddell, Butler, Mo.; Jerry Waddell, South Coffeyville, Okla.; David Waddell, Ottawa; one sister, Kathy Waddell, St. Paul; his mother, Leota Waddell, Moran; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 17 at the Kincaid United Methodist Church in Kincaid. Private family burial will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to Moran Manor. Condolences to the family may be sent at www.feuerbornfuneral.com.
