Lyle P. Baker died Saturday, April 2, 2011. Judge Baker was the first Hearing Officer for Kansas 18th Judicial District. Since retiring in 1993, Judge Baker and his wife, Patty, have called the golfing community of Panorama Village, Texas their home.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Patty”; and three children, Gilbert Baker, New York City, New York, Gail Wilson and her husband, Shelby, Benton, Kan.; and Ardonna Cook and her husband, Bryce, Montgomery, Texas; four grandchildren, April Wilson Buckley, Lauren Cook, Ryan Cook and Shannon Cook; and two great-grandchildren, Allison Buckley and William Buckley.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 6 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, Willis, Texas.  Memorials are suggested to Odyssey House in Conroe, Texas, your local food bank, or the charity of choice.  Written condolences for the family may be left at www.shmfh.com.
