Harold was born April 28, 1917, at Munich, N.D., the son of Henry and Josephine Smith Lundine. He grew up and attended school in Humboldt, Kansas. He went to Civilian Conservation Corp prior to serving four years with the United States Army during World War II.
On August 2, 1941, Harold married Florine A. Smith at Camp Robinson, Ark. in Iola, Harold worked for the United States Postal Service. Florine preceded him in death on Dec. 24, 2006.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter: Becky, Iola; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Leon Lundine, and grandson, Lance Lundine.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 13 at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Iola. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
