Arthur Ben Wilcox, Jr.. 56, Broken Arrow, Okla., former Chanute resident, died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Coweta, Okla.

He was born Dec. 26, 1954 at Tulsa, Okla., the son of Arthur B. and Virginia Florence Turner Wilcox.

He served with the Army 82nd Airborne during Vietnam War. His occupation was security for Bailey’s Med.

He is survived by his wife Sharee, of the home; children, Arthur B. Wilcox, III, Lena Davis, Christina Boyer, Teresa Love; sisters/brothers, Tom Turner, Bill Meows, Larry Cornelison, Robert Cornelison. Jenny Gentry, Michelle Nickels; and three grandchildren.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 5 at Christian~Gavlik Funeral Home Chapel, 222 W. Broadway, Broken Arrow, Okla. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, Okla.
