Letha was born June 18, 1917 in Neodesha the daughter of Frank and Rozella Duft Hare. She attended Neodesha schools. On Dece. 30, 1933 she married Addison Berry in Fredonia. He preceded her in death. Following the death of her husband she moved to Chanute to be closer to her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon K. Roseberry, Chanute; two sisters, Lorene Newton, Altoona, and Darlene Roets, Neodesha, a brother, LeRoy Hare, Topeka; 11 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great children.
She was preceded her by two sons and three grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Monday, May 9 at 1 p.m. at the Shelly Bethel Cemetery north of Neodesha. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 2 to 4 p.m. The family suggests memorial remembrances to Horizon Hospice and they may left in care of the funeral home.
