Beulabel Elliott Ray Watkins, 87, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Everett Care & Rehabilitation in Everett, Wash. Beulabel was born June 20, 1923 to Earl and Lena Elliott in Bronson. She resided in Portland, Ore., until 2008 when she moved to Garden Court Retirement Community in Everett where she had made her home for the last three years.

Beulabel was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Lena Elliott of Chanute, a brother, Roger E. Elliott, Chanute, husbands Jesse S. Ray, Portland, Ore., and Joseph Watkins, Portland, Ore.  She is survived by two nieces, Marilyn Matlock, Bremerton, Wash., Linda Carder, Everett, Wash., two nephews, Roger L. Elliott, Chanute, and Marvin L. Elliott, Silverdale, Wash., and several great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial in honor of Beulabel will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15 at Garden Court Retirement Community, 520 - 112th Street SW, Everett, Wash. Following the memorial at Garden Court the family will receive friends at Solie Funeral Home, 3301 Colby, Everett, from 3:30-4 p.m.

Monday the family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. at Mount Scott Funeral Home, Mount Scott Blvd, Happy Valley, Ore. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m.  Monday at the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, 11801 SE Mount Scott Blvd, Happy Valley, Ore. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Providence Hospice of Snohomish County Foundation, 2731 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Wash. Arrangements are under the care of Solie Funeral Home, Everett, Wash.
