On Dec. 31, 1938 in Ball Creek, Ark., he married Thelma Morriss. She survives, of the home.
Luther was employed by Excelsior Brick Company for more than 20 years, as well as working as a farmer. Luther was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, are four sons, Luther Edens, Jr., Fredonia, Jack Edens, Fredonia, Donald Edens, Fredonia, John Edens, Fredonia; two daughters, Barbara Curtis, Elk City, Loretta Chambers, Fredonia; three brothers, Jake Edens, Springdale, Ark., Wayne Edens, Judsonia, Ark., Wyley Edens, Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters, Eunice Ogden, Mannford, Okla., Geneva Tindall, Center Ridge, Ark.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 10 at the Coyville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from to 5 to 7 p.m.
